“Rory visited Kew House School Boat Club to guide our junior rowers on ergo preparation and training periodisation. Combined with his own personal experiences, this made for a truly educational and inspiring visit. Rory spoke passionately about his time as a high-performing rowing athlete whilst also being relatable to junior rowers.

Our junior rowers were able to reflect on their most recent 5k assessment with Rory’s guidance and draw upon aspects from his presentation to improve for future tests. The KHSBC cohort enjoyed discussing their questions with Rory during and after the presentation. Rory was great fun, getting involved in one of our gym sessions.
